The oldest topiary gardens in the world, just off the M6 near Kendal.  Mid-summer is the recommended time to see the gardens to appreciate the topiary and flower beds. Admission fee to the gardens is £12.45 you can upgrade on the day to visit the house. Cafe and toilets are available
